About this initiative
Summary
This initiative aims to address minor technical and consistency issues on ecodesign requirements for standby and off mode electric power consumption, which have been identified in Annex II and Annex IV to Regulation (EU) 2023/826. It also addresses technical and consistency issues on ecodesign requirements for household tumble dryers identified in Annex II, Annex III and Annex IV to Regulation (EU) 2023/2533.

EU commission regulation (EU) 2023/826 released on 17'Apr2023 has wrong language in section (Annex III 'Information requirements'). The text reads as '(2) the power consumption of the equipment in networked standby if all wired network ports are connected and all wireless network ports are activated'.
