G20 Summit: President Meloni meets with the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, today, in the margins of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations, with particular reference to investment opportunities and economic cooperation between the two nations in the fields of energy, major connection infrastructure and artificial intelligence.

President Meloni and the Crown Prince also expressed appreciation for the excellent collaboration initiated by Italy and the United Arab Emirates to foster equal partnerships with African nations as part of the Mattei Plan. In this context, they confirmed the shared desire to soon organise a business forum to bring together Italian and Emirati companies operating in Africa in order to further enhance existing synergies and develop new ones.
