Temporary Closure of North 70th Street Begins October 11

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that North 70th Street between Cornhusker Highway and Fletcher Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, October 11, for railroad track repairs.

The recommended detour is Cornhusker Highway to 56th Street to Fletcher Avenue.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public's patience during these closures and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
