Route 43 to split into two routes for January service adjustment

(DAYTON, OHIO)… The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority will be adjusting the Route 18 and the Route 43 based on customer and driver feedback. These changes will take effect Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Route 18 will no longer serve Schantz Avenue, as pictured on the map below.

Route 43 will be split into two routes, Route 43 and Route 44. Route 43 will serve P&G, the Amazon fulfillment center, TJ Maxx, Crocs, the airport, Innovative Plastics and Frito Lay. Route 44 will serve Chewy, Masonite, and ASPM, along with Peters Pike and Capstone Way. All stop locations will remain the same.

Time adjustments will be made to routes 7, 8, 12 and 17. All adjusted route times will be available to view under future schedules on RTA's website, www.iriderta.org , starting a week prior to the service change taking effect.
