Allen Public Library breaks ground on facility expansion

Work is underway for the expansion and renovation of Allen Public Library! Staff and City officials celebrated the project groundbreaking on June 22. This phase of expansion is made possible by funds approved by Allen voters during the 2016 bond election. Read more about the expansion project

The facility is closed for construction starting Aug. 1
The existing facility is closed for construction starting Aug. 1. In the meantime, staff and services will move to a temporary location at 800 E. Main St., which opens to the public this fall. Once an opening date is set for this location, we'll share all the details on AllenLibrary.org.
