The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality/Air Quality Division (AQD) will hold a virtual Meaningful Engagement Session for the Oil and Gas Methane Rule, 40 CFR Part 60, subpart OOOOc for existing sources on October 31, 2024 held at 1:00 p.m. Register in advance at https://deq-wyoming-gov.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcldu-pqDsuE9Mt3j_otlxwPX_sdBTQm11O This meeting will include presentations led by the AQD covering the above topic. At the conclusion of this presentation, there will be opportunities to engage and provide input that may help inform the Division's State Plan development. The Division is seeking input from all interested parties, including affected facilities under the rule and the general public. The Division will provide prompts to help direct the conversation rather than limit discussions. Discussion topics can be found at https://deq.wyoming.gov/aqd/oil-and-gas-methane-rule/ The AQD will conduct this meeting in the development process for the creation of a State Plan as required by the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) March 6, 2024 Final Rule, "Standards of Performance for New, Reconstructed, and Modified Sources and Emissions Guidelines for Existing Sources: Oil and Natural Gas Sector Climate Review."
