Mini Insurance Village Opens at Shore Acres Recreation Center to Assist Those Impacted by Double Storms

October 24, 2024 - In response to the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, St. Pete residents now have access to critical insurance services closer to home. Beginning Friday, October 25, at 10 a.m., a Mini Insurance Village will be available at the Shore Acres Recreation Center, 4230 Shore Acres Blvd NE.

Hosted by the Chief Financial Officer of Florida, this village will serve as a vital resource for local policyholders who would otherwise need to travel to Clearwater for insurance support.

Residents can visit the village to meet with staff and receive guidance on filing claims for damage resulting from the storms. Policyholders are encouraged to bring all necessary documentation to streamline the process.

What to Bring:

  • Driver's license or other form of ID (Passport/State ID)

  • Insurance cards and policy documents

  • Photos or documentation of property damage

  • Repair estimates

  • Any other relevant insurance information

Event Information:

  • Location: Shore Acres Recreation Center, 4230 Shore Acres Blvd NE

  • Dates and Times:

  • Friday, October 25, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

  • Saturday & Sunday, October 26 & 27, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Monday-Wednesday, October 28-30, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
