ARROYO GRANDE, CA - The City of Arroyo Grande is excited to celebrate the winter season, and AG Rec has events and activities for people of all ages!

  • The 21st annual Holiday Parade takes place on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, through the Village of Arroyo Grande. Starting at 5 pm on the Sunday following Thanksgiving, dozens of fantastically decorated floats, marching bands, dance troops, and locals will take to the streets to showcase their spirit! The parade ends with everyone's favorite Grand Marshal, Santa Claus!
  • The Art in the Park Holiday Market on December 7th at Heritage Square Park is a great place to find one-of-a-kind gifts for your friends and loved ones. Local artists will be selling their handmade creations including jewelry, clothing, candles, skin care products, plants, books, crochet, prints, and delicious treats will also be available for purchase! From 10 am-4 pm on the first Saturday of December, join in the magic this season has to offer!
  • The 3rd annual Tree Lighting and Snow event takes place on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Elm Street Park. Experience the joy of sledding and playing in the snow, savor the fun of roasting s'mores, and take in the magic of horse-drawn carriage rides! The event will also feature an amazing winter wonderland bounce-town! Santa will arrive at 6 pm to light up our festive winter tree along with the Mayor of Arroyo Grande!
  • Need a fabulous location for your holiday party? The Arroyo Grande Woman's Club Community Center located at 211 Vernon Street is available for your seasonal events. With room for up to 225 guests, this spacious building and convenient kitchen is available for weekend and evening rentals.
