Team NAVER will present innovative digital twin technology at "Cityscape Global 2024," held from November 11 to 14 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. NAVER joins this world-renowned construction and architecture exhibition to demonstrate their collaborative digital twin project, currently under development in Saudi Arabia, alongside NHC, Korea Land and Geospatial InformatiX Corporation (LX Corporation), and Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-Water).
"Cityscape Global 2024" is the largest exhibition in construction, architecture, proptech, and real estate, with the theme "The Future of Living." This year's event is expected to reach a record scale with over 400 exhibitors, over 500 speakers, and 7 conferences.
Under the slogan "Build a Future City with Digital Twin Now," Team NAVER, together with NHC, LX Corporation, and K-Water, will operate an interactive booth. At the booth, NAVER plans to showcase the achievements of its digital twin platform project with the NHC and offer visitors an opportunity to experience innovative technology firsthand.
The exhibit includes three distinct areas. Visitors can experience the following: ▲ a diorama media table that demonstrates digital twin scenarios such as flood simulations, urban planning, and traffic system design; ▲ a VR experience zone that allows visitors to virtually explore NHC's housing projects via NAVER's digital twin solution "ALIKE"; and ▲ a media display area that features presentations on NAVER's latest technologies. Through these exhibits, visitors can immerse themselves in real-world applications of digital twin technology and envision its future potential.
Team NAVER's participation follows their debut at "LEAP 2024," Saudi Arabia's largest tech exhibition held last March, underlining their commitment to the Saudi market. In October last year, NAVER achieved a milestone by exporting its technology to Saudi Arabia through the "Digital Twin Platform Construction Project for Major Saudi Arabian Cities." After an official project launch in Saudi Arabia this July, the project has been progressing in phases. Collaborating with LX Corporation and K-Water, NAVER has developed services such as flood and urban planning simulations. The digital twin data for Jeddah, one of the major cities, has already been successfully completed. Looking forward, Team NAVER aims to launch the first phase of this project early next year in collaboration with multiple partners to expand core digital services.
NAVER Cloud CEO Kim Yu-won said, "Through our collaboration with NHC, Team NAVER is leading digital twin development in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the realization of Saudi's smart city vision. This exhibition will further promote Team NAVER's pioneering technology and drive business expansion across the Middle East and beyond."
