Vice Chairman Murkowski’s Committee Staff to Host Alaska Tribal Water and Sanitation Symposium

On October 15, 2024, at the Egan Center in Anchorage, Alaska, Staff for Vice Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), will facilitate a federal grant symposium focused on Tribal water and sanitation projects.

The purpose of the symposium is to provide Alaskans, particularly from rural and underserved communities, with a better understanding of the federal opportunities to develop new water and sanitation infrastructure, as well as to improve existing infrastructure. Representatives from relevant funding agencies and partners will be present at the event.

The symposium is free and open to the public. Additional details, including run of show, will be circulated soon.
