4th Annual Veteran Resource Fair happening on Saturday, October 26

Veterans Day holds a special place in our nation's heart, a day where we pay homage to the countless individuals whose military dedication has left an indelible mark on our history.

Among us in Cedar Hill, (48) employees are proud Veterans, embodying the essence of bravery and sacrifice. Their service, and that of countless others, has shaped the freedom we cherish today. We hold deep reverence for these men and women, and in our community, we strive to make them feel genuinely appreciated. As a gesture of our gratitude, two heartfelt "Thank You Veterans" street banners will adorn our City throughout the month of November.

In continued honor, we invite you to join us for the 4th Annual Veteran Resource Fair on October 26 at 8 am at the Cedar Hill Government Center. This collaborative effort with our esteemed partners, the local Disabled American Veterans Chapter #240, seeks to provide essential resources to our veterans. Additionally, Dallas Veterans Affairs will generously offer free immunizations, ensuring their well-being and health.

Join us for an honoring and celebratory event, featuring a presentation of colors, breakfast, raffle, and vendor participation. Vendors will provide valuable insights on veterans-related education, while others will offer information on essential resources like healthcare, benefits, and employment. Dallas Health and Human Services will also be onsite to provide free flu shots.
