Devil’s Backbone Hike, Shades State Park

Meet at Pine Hills parking lot to hike through Pine Hills, Indiana's first Nature Preserve, and climb Devil's Backbone! Devil's Backbone is a narrow ridge between two 60 ft drop-offs on either side.

This hike may not be suitable for those with a fear of heights or children under 10. Waterproof hiking boots are recommended.
