Reminder: UToledo to Celebrate Graduates at Saturday Fall Commencement Ceremonies



The University of Toledo will celebrate the final graduates to join its Class of 2024 with fall commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 14.

UToledo is set to confer 1,486 degrees and graduate certificates during two ceremonies inside John F. Savage Arena, including 110 doctoral, 283 master's, 1,018 bachelor's and 30 associate's degrees, as well as 20 juris doctors.

Students in the College of Arts and Letters, the John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation, Judith Herb College of Education, College of Law, College of Medicine and Life Sciences, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will be recognized at 9 a.m.

Students in the College of Engineering, College of Health and Human Services, College of Nursing and University College will be recognized at 1 p.m.

"With a degree from UToledo, our graduates have the power to land their dream jobs, to advance in their careers and to positively impact their communities," said Matt Schroeder, interim president of UToledo. "We're excited to see what they do next as they join an alumni network of more than 173,000 Rockets making an impact around the world."

Due to capacity and fire code regulations, tickets are required for admission to commencement.

Lane restrictions remain in place on Douglas Road near Savage Arena. Northbound and southbound curb lanes are closed to traffic between University Hills Boulevard and East Rocket Drive.
