Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the state's south.
Helen Al-Hasan, aged 14, was last seen in Mount Austin about 7pm yesterday (Thursday 7 November 2024).
When she could not be located or contacted officers from Riverina Police District were notified at 9.30am today (Friday 8 November 2024) and commenced an investigation to locate her.
Family and police hold concerns for her safety due to her young age.
Helen is described as Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 160cm, medium build and long dark hair.
She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and green jeans.
Helen is known to frequent the Mount Austin and Estella areas.
Inquiries have established that she maybe in company with an older male travelling in a Black SUV, not further described.
Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Wagga Wagga Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
