Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Judiciary, and Anti-Corruption Momo Koprivica welcomed today the Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia for Good Governance, Mr. Arben Fetai.
At the outset, Deputy Prime Minister Koprivica extended a warm welcome to his North Macedonian counterpart, emphasizing the close and friendly relations between the two nations.
Montenegro and North Macedonia share a common vision of a future within the European Union. Our cooperation is essential for strengthening regional stability and accelerating European integration, Koprivica stated.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed the progress of their respective countries on the European path, underlining the importance of the swift and effective implementation of reforms. Koprivica highlighted Montenegro's readiness to share its experiences in the EU negotiation process, stressing the significance of regional solidarity and knowledge exchange at this pivotal time.
Deputy Prime Minister Fetai praised Montenegro's dedication to the European integration process, noting that joint efforts could accelerate EU membership.
North Macedonia remains a strong partner to Montenegro in regional initiatives and reform processes. I am confident that, through coordination and mutual support, we can achieve our shared goal - full EU membership, Fetai remarked.
The officials concluded that intensified cooperation in political, judicial, and anti-corruption efforts would further strengthen the position of the Western Balkans in the European integration process.
