Career Connect event links job-seekers with local employers

Join the City of North Port's Economic Development Division for their inaugural Career Connect Job Fair on Oct. 17. This exciting event will take place at the George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way, from 1-4 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with numerous local employers, including HCA Healthcare, Atlanta Braves, King Plastic, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, North Port Behavioral Health and numerous City of North Port departments.

"As North Port grows, so does the need for a robust workforce," Business Retention and Expansion Coordinator Mike McLellan said. "I'm looking forward to seeing our business community come together to find quality applicants and network with other industry professionals."

Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and take advantage of the chance to build connections and network with other professionals.
