Front Range Registration Enforcement Week, Sept. 22 - 28

Pueblo, CO - Throughout the week of September 22, 2024, the Pueblo Police Department, along with the Denver Police Department, Aurora Police Department, Colorado Springs Police Department, Colorado State Patrol, Monument Police Department, El Paso County Sherriff's Office, and the Fountain Police Department, will work together to target expired vehicle registration & unregistered vehicle violations along front range roads and highways.

Each of these agencies has heard from concerned citizens regarding an increase in vehicles with expired registration or no registration on the roads. As a response, these agencies have committed to a surge in enforcement of this issue from September 22nd to September 28th, as well as continued intentional enforcement of these violations.

While moving violations such as speeding, distracted and reckless driving, and DUI/DUID will continue to be the enforcement priorities, Pueblo Police, and other front range agencies understand the frustration and community impacts expired & unregistered vehicles bring to all of our communities.

The Pueblo Police Department is advising community members throughout the front range of this enforcement week and encourages everyone to ensure their vehicle registration is up to date. You can learn more about vehicle registration, renew your registration, and more at https://dmv.colorado.gov/.
