The President Gave Instructions to the Military and Government Officials Following the Meeting with Civil Society Representatives

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the military, intelligence, NSDC Secretary and Government officials following a recent meeting with civil society representatives.

In particular, the Head of State instructed to develop the format of the Technology Staff, which should increase the modern capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This is one of the initiatives discussed at the meeting with civil society representatives.

"The highest priority is, of course, drones. In particular, those capable of intercepting 'Shahed' and other strike UAVs," he noted.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also instructed the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine to address the issue of releasing civilian Ukrainians from Russian captivity.

"We have also worked out some necessary legislative changes, as well as sanctions policy and our diplomacy. I will hear the results in a few weeks," the President remarked.

On October 23, Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with 26 representatives of civil society and discussed with them the Victory Plan, the importance of unity among Ukrainians, security and defense issues, the release of military and civilians from Russian captivity, and advocacy for Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO.
