Each year, Homecoming emerges as a vibrant celebration for all - students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the wider community. It was truly a joy to welcome back our alumni, rally behind our Jaguar Football team to victory, honor our cherished traditions, and bask in the warmth of a splendid SU experience!

This year, I believe we witnessed one of the largest Homecoming gatherings in our storied history. From the heartwarming ecumenical service to the crowning of the 94th Miss Southern University, the exhilarating Homecoming concert, the spirited Greek Show, and the lively parade, the week was infused with positivity and joy. The electrifying atmosphere of tailgating that preceded our triumph over a rival conference contender was nothing short of legendary.

Did we encounter some hurdles during Homecoming? Indeed. Yet, it's vital to recognize that while perfection eludes us - as it does in most endeavors - we proudly uphold the banner of Southern University.

Let us unite in our efforts to maintain Southern University as a welcoming and pristine haven, reflecting the pride we hold for our institution as a beacon of knowledge and hope.
