Denver - Friday, October 18, 2024 - The Denver Police Department (DPD), in partnership with the Far East Center, Denver Police Foundation, and other community partners, is thrilled to welcome Denver's ghosts, goblins, and families to the Mile High Trunk or Treat event at Empower Field at Mile High on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. This spooktacular event promises a fun, safe, and family-friendly Halloween experience for all. Event Details:

  • What: Mile High Trunk or Treat
  • When: Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
    • 6:00 p.m. Speeches from Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, District Three Denver City Council Woman Jamie Torres, DPD Chief Thomas, and other officials
    • Winner of costume contest announced at 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Empower Field at Mile High at 1701 Bryant Street, Lot C - near Colfax Avenue and Mile High Stadium Circle
  • Cost: Free and open to the public

With more than 100 festively decorated trunks*, food vendors, and an array of Halloween-themed activities, the Mile High Trunk or Treat is designed to bring together the Denver community for a frightfully fun evening. Kids can enjoy trick-or-treating, a pumpkin decorating station*, dance parties, and other exciting attractions while mingling with Denver law enforcement and first responders.

Additionally, there will be a costume contest with prizes for the best costumes, which will be announced at 7:30 p.m., and participants must be present to win.

Safety First: The event is organized with the goal of fostering a sense of community while ensuring a safe environment for all participants. Denver Police officers will be present throughout the event, engaging with families and sharing Halloween safety tips.
