Washington, D.C. - Colorado U.S. Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper welcomed over $3.2 million from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program for five communities in Colorado. This funding will improve roadway safety and prevent deaths and serious injuries.
"The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is the largest investment in America's roads, bridges, and essential infrastructure since President Eisenhower." said Bennet. "These investments will help local governments across Colorado continue to meet the needs of our changing population and make our roadways safer."
"We passed our Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to fix our aging roads and bridges," said Hickenlooper. "And that's exactly what this new funding is doing. It's investing back into our communities to protect Colorado families and help them thrive."

Earlier this year, Bennet and Hickenlooper celebrated $28.6 million from the SS4A program for 11 projects across the state.
