Mount Vernon Police Department Investigates Shooting Incident on West Lincoln Avenue Mount Vernon, NY -

The Mount Vernon Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the vicinity of 22 West Lincoln Avenue on the evening of Wednesday,

October 23, 2024. At approximately 10:25pm, officers responded to reports of a male shot in the area.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims. One victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the left forearm and was transported to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment. The second

victim, suffering from a gunshot wound to the left underarm, was found with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Mount Vernon Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Mount Vernon Police Department is actively searching for suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing.
