Luna Innovations to Exhibit at ADIPEC 2024

(ROANOKE, VA, October 25, 2024) Luna Innovations will be exhibiting at the upcoming ADIPEC 2024 Conference and Exhibitionin Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 4-7. This year marks the first time that Luna will be exhibiting as a combined optical sensing company, bringing together its Silixa, OptaSense, and LIOS distributed fiber optic sensing solutions for the upstream, midstream, and utilities markets.

During the four-day exhibition, Luna will be showcasing its unique approach for monitoring wells, reservoirs, and pipelines using a fiber optic cable to measure vibration, temperature and strain along the entire length of the asset, providing critical data in real-time so that crucial decisions can be made quickly, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

Technologies on display in the booth include Luna's newest sensing technology, the ATLAS interrogator unit. Designed specifically for long linear assets, like pipelines, the ATLAS system provides precise, long-range monitoring, up to 190 km, on four separate fibers, delivering improved sensitivity and measurement precision for applications including leak-detection, 3^rd-party intrusion, and pig tracking.

Luna will also feature its iDAS^TM Intelligent Distributed Acoustic Sensor, which delivers finer spatial resolution, wider coverage, and lower noise, making it ideal for passive and active seismic surveys, flow characterization, and critical infrastructure monitoring.
