RA NA President Alen Simonyan meets with Head of delegation of France to Inter-Parliamentary Union

The RA NA President Alen Simonyan being in Geneva had a meeting with the Head of the delegation of the Republic of France to the Inter-Parliamentary Union Xavier Iacovelli. During the meeting in warm and friendly atmosphere the sides discussed a large scope of issues regarding the multilateral agenda of the Armenian-French relations.

Alen Simonyan thanked the friendly France for the determination to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia, as well as for the assistance shown to the aspirations of the Armenian people for peace and democracy. Besides, the RA NA President underscored the role of France in the deployment of the observation mission of the European Union in Armenia, as well as in providing support to Armenia through European peace tool.

Xavier Iacovelli in his turn thanked the RA NA President for the meeting and noted that France is next to Armenia on its fair and democratic aspirations.

The sides also discussed issues on the inter-parliamentary relations of the two countries.
