Delta to launch daily nonstop flights from TPA to Amsterdam on October 26

The big day is almost here: Delta Air Lines is bringing back daily nonstop flights from Tampa International Airport to Amsterdam (AMS) starting October 26.

The route, which last operated in 2019 and is currently scheduled to fly through March 29, 2025, opens up a world of travel possibilities for Tampa Bay passengers, allowing easy, one-stop access to more than 100 destinations via KLM's extensive network at AMS.

Delta will operate this route using their 282-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Passengers opting for extra room to spread out will find 34 lie-flat seats in the premium Delta One cabin, 21 Delta Premium Select seats and numerous Comfort+ seats available. Economy passengers will enjoy a 2-4-2 seating arrangement. All passengers will enjoy a complimentary meal, earbuds and access to free entertainment on seatback monitors.

To celebrate this milestone inaugural, TPA has teamed up with Delta to give away two roundtrip Premium Select tickets to Amsterdam. There is no cost to enter this giveaway; entries will be accepted until 10 a.m. Eastern on Nov. 4. To enter, click here: https://tpasweepstakes.wishpondpages.com/landing-page-2806611/

In addition to the ticket giveaway, the TPA team is planning a special gate celebration for the inaugural flight, welcoming incoming passengers with a water cannon salute and sending departing travelers overseas with a custom cake - a local pirate may even stop by for a visit! Be on the lookout for photos and videos from this event on TPA's Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
