Commissioner Wilton Simpson, Santa Claus Offer Personalized Certificates for Florida Kids

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson is proud to announce his continued collaboration with Santa Claus to ensure Christmas traditions are upheld and holiday cheer reaches every family in the Sunshine State. This year, Commissioner Simpson has teamed up with Santa Claus to offer personalized Certificates of Clearance, officially confirming that Santa and his reindeer are cleared to enter Florida and deliver gifts to good boys and girls.

"We are pleased to offer these special keepsakes to let children across Florida know that Santa and his reindeer are officially cleared to enter Florida and deliver gifts to your home with a little help from Florida's agriculture industry," said Commissioner Wilton Simpson. "Christmas reminds us of the importance of family, tradition, and faith. It is an honor to do my part in preserving this special season for Floridians."

The certificates serve as a keepsake for children and add a touch of magic to their holiday season. Each certificate is personalized with the child's name and signed by Commissioner Simpson, making it an exciting way to highlight Santa's special visit to their home.

Santa Claus said, "The people of Florida have been so kind to me and my reindeer over the years, and I'm thrilled to work with Commissioner Simpson to make this season extra special. Rudolph and the team are excited to fly over Florida homes, fueled by the finest Florida-grown treats!"

How to Get Your Personalized Certificate

Parents and guardians can create their child's custom certificate by visiting christmas.fdacs.gov. Simply create your certificate account, and you'll receive an official digital certificate to print and display ahead of Santa's arrival.

As part of the longstanding partnership between FDACS and the North Pole, Commissioner Simpson will issue an Emergency Order later this month to waive any regulations or requirements by the department that could potentially hinder or delay Santa Claus' travel across Florida on Christmas. Details on this Emergency Order will be announced once it has been issued.
