Thanksgiving Garbage Impacts

The Thanksgiving holiday will change some residents' garbage/recycling pick up day for the week. If your regular trash/recycling day is Thursday or Friday the week of Thanksgiving, pick-up will be delayed ONE day.

For example, if your garbage day would normally fall on Thursday, November 28^th, your garbage will be picked up Friday, November 29^th. If your garbage day would normally fall on Friday, November 29^th, your garbage will be picked up on Saturday, November 30^th.

The following week will be back on the regular schedule.

City Facility Holiday Closures:

All City facilities and offices will be closed November 28th and November 29th. Doors will reopen Monday, December 2nd. For questions on City closures, call: 801-569-5000. For questions about garbage, call West Jordan Public Works: 801-569-5700.
