Sept. 27 deadline to obtain 2024 dog/cat license

As of September 27^th, the City of Green Bay will no longer sell 2024 dog or cat licenses. This is so the Clerk's staff can reconcile the accounts and tags.

For Green Bay residents who have a 2024 dog or cat license, you will receive a 2025 license renewal letter from the Clerk in late November.

2025 dog and cat licenses will be available December 1^st.

You may obtain a 2025 dog or cat license from the comfort of your home. Simply visit our website, www.greenbaywi.gov/1265/Animal-Licenses download and complete the application. Then mail the application, a copy of your pet's current rabies certificate, along with the appropriate payment - checks only please. $15 for a spayed or neutered cat or dog; $30 for an intact cat or dog.
