Welcome to the LBPD Blotter!

As part of our ongoing commitment to external communications and providing valuable information to our community, the Department posts preliminary information about incidents that occurred the previous evening, including shootings and stabbings, as well as any other LBPD updates to the Department's homepage and on the "News" tab of the Department's website. This page will be updated as new incidents occur.

Here's a recap of incidents occurring last night:

  • Vehicle Collision - 5300 block of Cerritos Avenue - Homicide detectives are investigating a traffic collision that led to the death of a male adult. A news release with more info can be found here.
Great work officers! Last night, officers safely took three guns off the streets.
  • On Nov. 15, 2024 at approximately 8:18 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Willow Street. During the investigation, officers recovered a firearm. The suspect was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.

  • On Nov. 15, 2024 at approximately 10:59 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of East Anaheim Street. During the investigation, officers recovered two firearms. The suspect, who was determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
