Harris rally continues UWL tradition of free speech, political discourse

These visits underscore UWL's commitment to fostering civil dialogue and free speech, providing a platform for diverse viewpoints on critical issues, and promoting campus and community engagement in the democratic process.

Fittingly, Harris' visit came just days before the kickoff of Free Speech Week (Oct. 21-25) on campus, with activities planned throughout the week.

Harris joined the likes of several other presidents, vice presidents and national dignitaries who have address campus through the decades. They include:
