Ambassador Tai to Travel to Brazil

WASHINGTON - United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to Brazil from October 23-25, 2024. Ambassador Tai will be joined by Chief Agricultural Negotiator Doug McKalip.

On Wednesday, October 23, Ambassador Tai will participate in a fireside chat with Stephanie Flanders, Senior Executive Editor for Economics at Bloomberg and head of Bloomberg Economics, during the Bloomberg New Economy event at B20 in São Paulo, Brazil. Ambassador Tai will also participate in a roundtable discussion with labor union representatives. This event is closed press.

On Thursday, October 24, Ambassador Tai and Ambassador McKalip will participate in the G20 Trade and Investment Ministers' Meeting in Brasília, Brazil. This ministerial is closed press.

On Friday, October 25, Ambassador McKalip will participate in the B20 Summit: Inclusive Growth for a Sustainable Future's Trade Ministers' Session in São Paulo, Brazil. This session is open to registered press. More information can be found on the B20 Summit website.
