CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 5, 2024) - A Multi-Agency Resource Center is open at the Port Charlotte Town Center mall to assist residents affected by Hurricane Helene. The center, located at 1441 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte (inside the mall, across from the FYE store), will provide local and state resources to support recovery efforts.

The MARC will be open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Saturday, and from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. Charlotte County Transit Services is offering free rides to and from the MARC. To schedule a ride, call the Charlotte County Emergency Operations Center at 941-833-4000.
