WASHINGTON, D.C. - Joint Staff Spokesperson Navy Capt. Jereal Dorsey provided the following readout:

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., spoke with Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi today by phone.

Gen. Brown and Gen. Syrskyi discussed the latest battlefield developments and current security assistance efforts.

The U.S. will continue to support Ukraine with training and equipment for as long as it takes, so Ukraine can continue to defend itself from Russia's invasion.
