Sheetz becomes first in convenience store industry to utilize platform to reduce energy costs and improve carbon emissions tracking.

BALTIMORE (Dec. 12, 2024) - Sheetz, a leading convenience store chain, is expanding its commitment to sustainable operations and increased efficiency in managing energy consumption. Leveraging Constellation Navigator, a state-of-the-art energy intelligence service provided by Constellation, Sheetz continues to take strides toward a more environmentally focused future.

Constellation Navigator delivers a clear path for customers to set and meet their environmental and operational goals. Driven by advanced technology platforms and advisors with decades of experience, this innovative platform helps businesses solve challenges across the energy lifecycle including data and analytics, carbon accounting, sustainability advisory, utility bill management, and rebate administration.

The Utility Billing Management (UBM) platform, which is already integral to Sheetz's day-to-day operations, has proven instrumental in utility expense management since it was implemented in 2021, providing centralized and streamlined access to data and meaningful savings across all 760 store locations.

Under a newly expanded agreement through 2038, Sheetz will access Constellation's Navigator platform for UBM's analytics and payments services as well as to employ the carbon tracking for its stores.

For several years, Sheetz has been an industry leader in innovative practices and has provided optimization changes to the UBM platform through its extensive use. Sheetz is excited to utilize another new tool to provide enhanced tracking, so customers know they are supporting a business focused on positive environmental change.
