Cardin Highlights Importance of Inflation Reduction Act Health Provisions

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Ben Cardin submitted a statement to the official Congressional Record that expands on the various ways the Inflation Reduction Act is transforming health care.

"As things stand, the enhanced PTCs passed in the Inflation Reduction Act will expire in 2025. We cannot let this happen. If these enhanced PTCs are allowed to expire next year, over 20 million Americans will see a sudden increase in their health insurance costs. Additionally, an estimated 3 million Americans could lose their health insurance entirely," said Senator Cardin.
