Troopers respond to tractor trailer rollover in Otego

On September 18, 2024, at approximately 1:01 p.m., New York State Police Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Unit and Oneonta Patrols responded to Interstate 88 near mile maker 49 in the town of Otego for a tractor trailer that overturned.

An investigation at the scene revealed that the tractor trailer was traveling in a construction work area when the tractor trailer stuck a guild rail. The tractor trailer then went into the shoulder, went off the roadway and overturned.

No injuries were reported.

The driving lane was closed for several hours with no traffic delays. The tractor trailer was removed around 1:30 a.m., on September 19, 2024.
