REVISED: Lane closure scheduled on NB U.S.169 in Clay County, Oct. 23-Nov. 5

CLAY COUNTY - Crews will close one lane on northbound U.S. 169 near the north end of the Buck O'Neil Bridge. The lane closure will be around a half mile in distance. This work is for barrier wall improvements. Work will take place beginning at approximately 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23 through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 (rescheduled from Oct. 18-31). Southbound U.S. 169 is to remain closed for work on the Buck O'Neil Bridge project. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
