Seton Hall Rocket League Celebrates Historic Three-Peat

Seton Hall Esports made history once again last season as the Rocket League team secured their third consecutive Big East Championship, commemorating the victory with a special ring ceremony on September 27, 2024. The event, held in front of an enthusiastic crowd of students and alumni, honored the players, coaches, and support staff who made this unprecedented achievement possible.

The atmosphere was jovial as alumni returned to campus to celebrate with the current team. Former managers, who helped lay the foundation for the program's success, mingled with current players, sharing stories of their time competing at Seton Hall. One by one, each player was called up to receive their custom championship ring-a symbol of their dedication and the strong culture of unity and excellence that has been fostered within the program.

"This team has shown what it means to never settle," said Antonio Riozzi, head coach of the Rocket League team. "Winning one championship is hard, but winning three in a row is a testament to their dedication, preparation, and passion."
