Educating Kantar: empowering our people through the AI Learning Programme

AI is indispensable to Kantar. Not only in the products and tools that give our clients a competitive edge, but also in helping us innovate more efficiently and effectively. Where others are riding a wave of hype, we're on the next phase of a journey over 40 years in the making: we first started using multivariate statistics in 1983 and we've been responsibly infusing advanced analytics into our portfolio for over a decade.

AI is fundamental to both our success and the success of our clients. By integrating AI capabilities throughout our portfolio, processes and value-chain, we are positively disrupting the insights and measurement industry, transforming how marketers shape their brand future.

But we believe we can't benefit from AI, and neither can our clients, if our people aren't empowered to make the most of it.

Living this value, this month we launched an industry-first initiative: Kantar's AI Learning Programme. What makes this programme truly special is that only Kantar researchers are trained in AI through a programme accredited by MIT Horizon. This was created by MIT Open Learning, part of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to provide continuous education that helps organisations understand and apply the latest developments in technology and science to their industry.

Our pioneering programme will empower every Kantar colleague with the essential AI knowledge and skills to excel in their roles, and to enrich their understanding of how AI impacts the world around us. This next step in Kantar's ongoing employee AI-upskilling program is setting our people up for success as AI transforms our industry, and will further cement our position as the leader in marketing insights.

Colleagues can learn at their own pace, with the first three foundational modules - The Essentials of AI, AI in Action, and AI at Kantar - taking just 30 minutes each to complete. They introduce key concepts, explain how AI is transforming our industry, and showcase how we are integrating AI into our own operations.

This initiative is about more than just individual growth. It's about future-proofing our business. By equipping every Kantar colleague with AI expertise, we remain agile, adaptable, and ready to bring more value to our clients. It reflects our strategic priority: expertise amplified by technology, ensuring that we stay competitive, innovative, and ready for whatever the future holds.
