NTCA Comments on Artificial Intelligence in Robocalls/Robotexts

(November 15) In reply comments in an FCC proceeding examining the role of Artificial Intelligence in robocalls and robotexts, NTCA cautioned against changes to the consent regime that could leave subscribers unable to receive calls they desire. NTCA also urged the commission to examine whether rules or incentives to exchange voice traffic in IP format would ensure consumer protection rules would be more effective.
