The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, has chaired the second meeting of the Interministerial Commission for the development of urgent measures for the territory affected by the DANA.

The meeting was attended by the First Vice-President and Minister for Treasury, Mª Jesús Montero; the Second Vice-President and Minister for Work and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz; the Third Vice-President and Minister for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera; the Minister for the Presidency, Justice and Parliamentary Relations, Félix Bolaños; the Minister for Home Affairs, Fernando Grande-Marlaska (by telematic means); the Minister for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente; the Minister for Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu; the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas; the Minister for Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres; the Minister for Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabel Rodríguez; the Minister for Economy, Trade and Enterprise, Carlos Cuerpo, (by telematic means); the Minister for Health, Mónica García; the Minister for Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and 2030 Agenda, Pablo Bustinduy; and the Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, Elma Saiz.
The Interministerial Commission discussed the coordination among all the relevant ministries for the implementation of the urgent measures approved by the Executive, and for carrying out the reconstruction work and the relaunching of the areas affected by the DANA.
The new body is chaired by the Minister for Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, and its vice-president is the Minister for Home Affairs, Fernando Grande-Marlaska.
