Main Street water outage and road closure planned for water valve replacement

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has planned a water outage on Monday, Nov. 18, at 8 a.m. on Main Street from 4th Street to University Avenue for water valve replacement.

Low water pressure may be possible for the vicinity during the work.

Main Street will be closed from 4th Street to University Avenue. Traffic will be detoured to 4th Street and University Avenue to avoid the work zone. Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route.

The water valve replacement is anticipated to be finished, water service restored, and the road reopened by approximately 3:30 p.m.
