He also emphasized that the two regions continue to work closely together not only in economy but also for international peace and security.

3. Deputy Minister Kweon expressed deep concern over the grave humanitarian crisis caused by current conflicts in the Middle East and emphasized the Korean government's commitment to continue efforts for long-term peace in the region. He also stated that North Korea's ongoing provocations and deployment of its troops to Russia pose a significant security threat to both the Korean Peninsula and the international community. He stated that he is confident that Middle Eastern countries would join efforts to promote peace on the Korean Peninsula.
