Meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan with Baroness Caroline Cox

On 31 October, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received Baroness Caroline Cox, а Member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom who has arrived in Armenia to participate in the opening of "The Lady Cox Rehabilitation Centre".

Welcoming the guest the Paruyr Hovhannisyan expressed gratitude to Baroness Cox for her abiding friendship and support to Armenia and the Armenian people. For her part, the Baroness highly appreciated the comprehensive steps taken by the Government of Armenia to address the needs of the forcibly displaced Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The parties had a detailed discussion on the possibilities of joint efforts in the humanitarian field and touched upon the Armenia-UK agenda.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan elaborated on the latest regional developments, Armenia-EU partnership agenda, as well as normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
