Commerce Committee Approves Nominations, Sending Nominations to the Senate Floor

Today, the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation approved nominations during an Executive Session for four Amtrak Board of Directors, a member of the Marine Mammal Commission, two Corporation for Public Broadcasting Board of Directors, and a Federal Maritime Commissioner, along with several Coast Guard promotions.

• Elaine Clegg to be a Director on the Amtrak Board of Directors
• Lanhee Chen to be a Director on Amtrak Board of Directors
• Dr. Lisa Ballance to be a Member on the Marine Mammal Commission
• Felix Sanchez to be a Member on the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting
• Adam White to be a Member on the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting
• Louis Sola to be a Commissioner on the Federal Maritime Commission
