Nov. 18, 2024 - The Planning Commission will meet on Thursday afternoon with an agenda that includes public hearings on several applications.
The meeting, which starts at 3:30 p.m., will be held in chambers on the eighth floor of City Hall, 22 Lincoln St. It will be broadcast on the city's TV station, 47 Cox and 22 Verizon, and streamed live at hampton.gov/livetv.
The public hearings include applications related to a nursing home on West Queen Street, a restaurant on Big Bethel Road, as well as an application by New Mount Olive Christian Academy to broaden the permitted age range of its students.
The Commission will also consider amendments to various City Code chapters that correct cross-references to the consolidated stormwater and erosion control ordinance that Public Works brought to City Council in September. Because that ordinance repealed two chapters of the City Code and enacted a new chapter of the Code, these updates are necessary to maintain consistency in the code.
The meeting is open to the public. Click here for more details and the full agenda.
