Anthony D’Esposito Schemes to Make Americans Pay More for Medicine

House Republicans "absolutely " want to repeal existing laws that lower prescription drug prices

Anthony D'Esposito and House Republicans have honed in on one of their closing messages with less than fifty days to go until Election Day: make medicine more expensive.

Anthony D'Esposito and House Republicans continue to make it clear that they "absolutely" want to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act and raise prescription drug costs for seniors and families, following in Project 2025 and the Republican Study Committee's footsteps.

Democrats' Inflation Reduction Act allowed Medicare to negotiate down the cost of prescription drugs and capped the cost of insulin for Medicare recipients at $35 a month. The insulin price cap alone is saving 3,700 people in NY-04 an average of $460 a year.

Not a single House Republican voted for this law, and D'Esposito opposed it.

DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
"Anthony D'Esposito wants to make medicine more expensive for Nassau County families. Somehow, D'Esposito's party found an even less compelling message to run on seven weeks out from Election Day."
