Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 10:30 AM, Troopers arrested Damien McNeill, age 25, of 470 Branch Avenue, Apartment #1, Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice out of the State of Massachusetts on the original charge of Assault and Battery on a Family Member. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Sixth District Court to take custody of the subject. McNeill was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and later turned over to Sixth District Court for arraignment.

At 7:15 PM, Troopers arrested, Rui Melo, age 38, of 653 Main Street, Pawtucket Rhode Island, on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant on the original charges of 1.) Vandalism 2.) Obstruction, and 3.) Reckless Driving, originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
