Adapted Fall Festival offers safe, comfortable fun for all abilities

Children and youth with special needs are invited to the spooktacular Adapted Fall Festival at Hulen Mall, 4800 S. Hulen St.

Event details: Saturday, Oct. 19, noon to 4 p.m. Activities will take place inside the mall and in the parking lot near Red Robin restaurant.

Activities: Fort Worth Police and Fire departments will attend to interact with festival-goers. There will be a pumpkin patch, face-painting, games, vendors and more.

The inaugural event is being produced by the Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department's Dream Club. The Dream Club offers fun, safe and comfortable recreational activities to people with all levels of abilities. The program offers participants the opportunity to feel confident and socially involved.

Other festival partners include Hulen Mall, Fort Worth Police, Fort Worth Fire, Fort Worth ISD, Texas Health Resources, Cook Children's Health Care System and State Farm.
