NEW YORK, December 16, 2024 - Ivory Bishop, a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Department, has been appointed to the New York City Bar Association's Judiciary Committee. The Judiciary Committee evaluates candidates for election, reelection, appointment, reappointment, designation, and certification to judicial office and other offices connected with the administration of justice in both the state and federal courts in New York City. The Committee is comprised of 50 members.
Ivory is a former federal prosecutor and an experienced litigator who concentrates his practice on complex corporate and business litigation, white-collar and criminal proceedings, congressional and regulatory investigations, securities litigation, and antitrust litigation. Ivory also has a rapidly growing combat sports practice in which he represents professional boxers and mixed martial arts fighters, drafting and negotiating agreements on behalf of fighters with managers, agents, promoters, networks, and sponsors. Ivory represents fighters, promotional companies, and networks in contract disputes and represents parties under investigation or facing civil or criminal proceedings regarding alleged violations of sports gambling statutes and regulations.
